Baytna was established in 2013 with the main objective to enable and strengthen Syrian civil societies as a force for democratic change. It provides a platform for all Syrian CSO’s fighting against oppression, aggressive powers and all unfriendly actors in Syria.
Baytna promotes inclusiveness, respect for human rights, accountability, and civil liberties using tools such as advocacy, lobbying, and policy making. By doing so, it strives to lay the foundation for long- term stability across the country and prepare for a democratic future for all Syrians.
